RichSlider Release Notes



  • Version 4.0

    • New Namespace for the component: RicherComponents.ControlsV4.RichSliderNS
    • New 4.0 version included on the RichASPNETSuite 2009.1

  • Version 3.0

    • Licensing issue: Licensing conditional was added to the release compilation.

    • Enable/Disable issue: Enable/Disable functionality added.
    • Images issue: RichSlider™ images not showing issue has been fixed.
    • Mouse Wheel/Button Position issue: Fixed an issue was not updating correctly when the mouse when was being used.  Also fixed an issue where the button position on the slider bar was not correct.

  • Version 2.1

    • MouseMove Event issue: The MouseMove Event in FireFox browsers did not work correctly. This issue has been resolved.

  • Version 2.0

    • MouseMove Event issue: The MouseMove Event in FireFox browsers did not work correctly. This issue has been resolved.

  • Version 2.0

    • Visual Studio 2005 Ready: The RichSlider™ is now ready for Microsoft’s new version of Visual Studio. Some of the known issues are fixed in the browser compatibility for ASP.NET Version 2.0 frame work.
    • License Key Mechanism: In this release, a License key mechanism was introduced. Every Authorized Version will carry a LicenseKey including the evaluation version as a property of the component
    • Improved Documentation: This release comes with improved documentation in MSDN2003 style to highlight syntax more clearly.

  • Version 1.2

    • Extended browser support. Full support for Konqueror/Safari/KHTML is now included for free within RichSlider™.
    • Rounding error fixed. In rare cases the value of the slider could show incorrectly as a non-rounded figure, so for example 2.0 might show as 2.0000000034. This issue has been fully addressed in this new release.
    • Documentation improvements. This release brings improvements to the documentation provided with the product to include expanded descriptions of each property and method on the server control class.
